Roy,
My heart is aching. Bina was an angel, and I wish I could be with you this weekend to let you know how much I still value her.  I want you to know how grateful I am that Bina allowed me to be her friend.  She took excellent care of me.  I always enjoyed listening to her talk proudly about her children and her family.  Bina made me feel like a part of her family, and I remain grateful to you both for what you did for me a few years ago when the COVID-19 vaccines were first released.  I am also grateful for how Bina would cheer me up when I had a difficult day and for her advice when I had to make important decisions. Those discussions were always over a warm cup of tea. She would share stories of her life, and I came to appreciate that Bina possessed inner strength and the ability to persevere, which helped her overcome real hurdles that would sideline most people.  Not Bina. I admired her and was motivated by her example. But most of all, Bina possessed a treasure of kindness and care for others, which she shared generously with many people.  I was one of them, and I like to think I am a better person for knowing her.  I share your grief and wish I could give Bina one more hug.

To My Dearest Momma Bina, 

You embraced & showed me love, a perfect stranger.  You fed me, checked on me, unknown to you, during my darkest hours.   Moving across country to a state & city that I didn’t know anyone but newly found co-workers.  Your daughter introduced us and you then trusted me with her care.  Purnima is like a little sister to me so know that I will always look out for her.

I love you and you will be missed.  

Love you eternally.

You are at peace now.
