

SNYDER, Harold S. “Harry” of Quincy, March 9, 2012 at the age of 95. Born and raised in Quincy. Harry graduated from North Quincy High School, in the Class of 1936. After high school he worked at Fore River Shipyard for a time, before opening a car wash in Wollaston. After he closed the car wash he worked for Sweetheart Products for 20 years.
Harry was a member of the Mass Bass Assoc., loved to go on cruises, he also belonged to an Antique Auto Club. Harry and his brother Bob restored a 1911 Model T. Ford and a 1907 Maxwell.
Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Dorothy (Calnan), a daughter Mildred L. Payton, three sisters and a brother. Harry is survived by his loving daughter Beverly A. Ahola of Pembroke, 5 grandchildren, Ronald & Ruth of Plympton, Kenny & Kelli of Pembroke, Steven & Lori of Kingston and Scott and Sue Ahola of Hanson, David & Tara Payton of East Bridgewater. Also survived by 16 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
