

MINER SR, Mark K. of Quincy, at the age of age 56, died peacefully at the Massachusetts General Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday November 6, 2012. Born in New York (Born a true Yankees fan, but also a true Patriots fan), lived in Quincy over 40 years.
Mark was the beloved husband of Lorraine S. (Kaplan) Miner and loving father of Mark K. Miner, Jr. of Braintree. Devoted grandfather of Makensie Crossman and Kyle Crossman both of Braintree. Loving son of Ruth J. (Guice) Grey-Owl of FL. and the late Rev. Kenneth L. Miner. Beloved brother to Paul K. Miner of Boston and Lisa B. Miner of Spring Hill, FL. Dear Son in law of Lorraine (Nicotera) Kaplan of Quincy and the late Alvin Kaplan.
Mark worked over 20 years as a Mason for Abbot Building Restoration Company, Inc. of Boston and had some great friendships with his co-workers. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar, fishing, car racing, his love for guns, and airplanes, watching the History channel, but most of all taking long walks with his loving wife, Lorry his angel of 40 years.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Deware Funeral Home 576 Hancock Street WOLLASTON. on Thursday November 15th at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 6-7 p.m. Relatives and friend are invited.
