Richie grew up in Hull and was educated in the local school system. He worked as a roofer and laborer before becoming disabled. He enjoyed fishing, scratch cards, and spending time socializing with friends and family. He always had or made a funny story to tell.
Loving father of Richard A. Leonard of Milton, NH. Brother of Lillian Barbetta and her husband, Michael of Milford, NH, Frederick J. Leonard and his wife Nancy of Hull, Robert W. Leonard of Quincy and Dennis P. Leonard of Weymouth, the late Francis E. Leonard, Jr. and Susan (Leonard) Truemper. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends and Relatives are invited to A Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 5th at 10AM in Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock St, N. Quincy. Visiting hours are omitted and burial will be private.
