Alice Ehret Ellis

Mrs. Alice Ehret Ellis of 314 Dickson Street, died Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center at the age of 76. Mrs. Ellis was born in Union County, OH on January 20, 1934 to the late Howard Ehret and Lura Love Ehret. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Leonard Ellis. She was a member of the Raeford United Methodist Church, and the Pearl S. Cole Sunday School Class. Mrs. Ellis was a Bookkeeper for the Hoke County Public School System before she retired. Survivors are a son, Ron W. Ellis and his wife Sara (Cissy) of Raeford, NC; a brother, David Ehret and his wife Donna of Richwood, OH; a sister, Dorothy Schurch and her husband Glenn of Marion, OH; and three grandchildren, Alice Megan Ellis, Robert Christian Ellis, and Austin Michael Wood. Visitation will be held from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm Tuesday September 28, 2010 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford, 131 Harris Avenue. The Celebration of her life will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Raeford United Methodist Church with Reverend Michael Elliot officiating. Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.
