Caroline May Peck

She was born August 9, 1947 in Gouverneur, New York to the late Raymond and Lula Cyrus. She was raised by her grandmother Mable.

She was a loving, kind, compassionate sibling, wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Reginald, Lisa, Raymond Jr., Donnie, and Linda; and her beloved daughter, Jennifer Peck.

She is survived by her husband, David Peck; two daughters, Rebecca Bies (husband Charles Bies), Caroline Hatchell (husband Ronnie Hatchell II); six grandchildren, Jonathan McFadyen, Joshua Bies (wife Kristen Bies), Lauren Miller (husband Nick Miller), Noah Whitaker, Jessica Bies, and Caleb Whitaker; one great-grandchild Benjamin Miller; siblings, Richard, Patricia, Donna, Albert, and Tammy; and lots of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, N.C. with visitation from 2-3 p.m. and the service beginning at 3 p.m. this Sunday, December 8, 2024.
