Mr. Daniel B. Casperson of Raeford went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at his home at the age of 85.Dan was born in Racine County WI on December 17, 1934 to the late Thomas and Leona Smith Casperson. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Casperson. Dan served in the US Navy, retired as a car salesman in New York, was a member of the American Legion in Hoke County and attended Rockfish Church in Raeford. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Pierce Kirk-Casperson of Raeford, NC; a son Daniel T. Casperson and wife Sharon of Jacksonville, FL; three daughters Sharon A. Casperson of Schenectady, NY., Kathy J. Stiffen (Michael) of Scotia, NY., and Marissa L. Lassi and husband Tony of Raeford, NC., several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many brothers and sisters. A private memorial service will be held later.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
