Elaine Hendrix

Mrs. Hendrix was born in Hoke County on January 26, 1929, to the late Jonah Isaac Cole and Barbara Lucas Cole. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Hendrix and her daughter Robbie Hendrix McLean. Mrs. Hendrix was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the church choir and retired from Burlington Industries in Raeford, NC

She is survived by her a daughter, Brenda Hendrix Barr and her husband Sandy of Saint Augustine, FL, two grandsons Greg McLean (Tracy Nation) of GA, and Brad Barr and his wife Kristi of Texas, and two sisters, Ruby Easterling of Southern Pines, NC and Myrta Davis of Aberdeen, NC

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131Harris Ave. Raeford, NC

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, May 23, 2022, at Highland Biblical Gardens with Reverend James Wilhide officiating.
