Gerald Pinckney Jake Winchester

Dateline: Fayetteville Mr. Gerald P. (Jake) Winchester died Saturday, May 16, 2015 in Supply N.C, at the age of 80. Mr. Winchester was born March 9, 1935 in Lake City, SC to the late Pinckney Winchester and Nell Coker Winchester. He was a member of the Raeford United Methodist Church and a retired volunteer fireman in Raeford. Jake was a distributor with Mac Tools. Jake is survived by his daughter Patricia W. Crowder and her husband Charles of Raeford, his son Charles P. Winchester of Gurnee, IL, six grandchildren, Greer Crowder, Tucker Crowder, Austin Crowder, Kenton Winchester, Karlie Winchester and Katelyn Miller, Jake's companion Vivian Matthews of Fayetteville. A visitation will be held 7-9 pm Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford. A funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Lake Lynn Baptist Church 3363 Gillespie Street Fayetteville with Reverend Dr. Tom Fortner,Sr. officiating.
