

Mr. Glenn Bright McNeill, 82, of Red Springs, passed away peacefully at his home on April 29, 2012. Mr. McNeill was born on September 8, 1929 in Robeson County to John S. and Letha S. McNeill. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clara Canady McNeill; two brothers, John and Robert McNeill, and his step-daughter, Debbie Cox. Mr. McNeill was a member of First Baptist Church of Red Springs, a Mason for many years, and retired from Carolina Power and Light Company in 1986. He is survived by his current wife, Hazel G. McNeill; a son, Glenn B. McNeill, Jr. and his wife, Sharon of Troy; two daughters, Patricia Hill and her husband, Ronnie of Atlanta, GA, Janet Bunnells and her husband, Fredrick of Hope Mills; a step daughter, Vicki Hall and her husband Larry of Cary; Four grandchildren, Wendy Cato and her husband, Tommy of Salisbury, Misty Hildreth and her husband, Chris of Troy, David Hill and his wife, Sarah of Atlanta, GA, Jessica Bunnells of Hope Mills; two step grandchildren, Jason Hall of Cary, Chip Cox of Hope Mills; Seven great-grandchildren;One sibling, Naomi Scott of Red Springs. Visitation will be from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 E. 4th Ave, Red Springs, NC 28377. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Red Springs with the Reverend Bradley Boberg officiating.
