James Benjamin Scott

Dateline: Pinebluff Mr. James Benjamin "J.B." Scott, Jr. 88, of 160 W. New England Ave. Pinebluff, died Saturday, January 9, 2016, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. Mr. Scott was born in Richmond County on November 18, 1927 to the late James Benjamin Scott, Sr. and Kate Gillis Scott. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Scott and his brother, George Scott. He was a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church in Roseland , a volunteer with the Pinebluff Fire Department, employed with Standard Trucking Company and the Town of Pinebluff before he retired. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Scott is survived by 3 daughters,Linda Campbell and her husband Mike of Sanford, NC; Vickie Ring of Vass, NC; Eva Davis and her husband David of Aberdeen, NC; 3 sons, William Charles " Chuck Scott and his wife Terry of Aberdeen, NC ; Michael " Mike" Scott and his wife Dora of Vass, NC; Jerry Scott and his wife Dianne of Rockingham, NC.; 15 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm Monday, January 11, 2016 at Crumpler Funeral Home 40229 US 1 Hwy, Aberdeen. Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Ives Memorial Baptist Church,365 E. Philadelphia Ave. Pinebluff,
