Jimmy Wayne Spencer

Mr. Jimmy Wayne Spencer of 797 Posey Farm Road, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center at the age of 57. Mr. Spencer was born in Moore County on January 27, 1954 to the late Sam and Eva Cheek Spencer. He was preceded in death by his brother Johnny Spencer. He was self-employed with Spencer Brothers Concrete. He is survived by his wife Sandra L. Spencer of Raeford; a son, Michael W. Spencer of Raeford; a daughter Christina M. Spencer of Raeford; two brothers, Bobby Spencer and his wife Betty of Raeford, and Ricky Spencer of Raeford; three sisters, Linda Long and her husband Wilbert Barefoot of Raeford, Rhonda Velevis and her husband Stuart of Raeford, and Kathy Johnson and her husband Terry of Raeford; one granddaughter Madison Spencer of Raeford; and several Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00pm, Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC 28376. Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Friday, May 6, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jimmy Locklear officiating. Entombment will be in the Spencer Family Cemetery.
