Mrs. Dodson was born in Shelby, MS on August 3, 1955, to the late James Franklin Mitchell and Frances Irene McLean Mitchell. She was a beloved wife, mother, and nana. Her greatest joy was being a nana.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Palmer T. Dodson of Raeford, NC, two sons, Christopher Manor (Michelle) of Hope Mills, NC and Matthew Dodson of Raeford, NC, a daughter Angela Dodson (Kelly) of Hampstead, NC, four grandchildren Dylan Manor, Dakota Manor, Kyla Dodson and Kensley Dodson, one great grandson Bentley Manor.
A private memorial service for the family will be held at later date.
