Mrs. Mary Louise Klabbatz of Aberdeen died, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in FirstHealth at the age of 87. Mrs. Klabbatz was born in Randolph County to the late William Underwood and Iva Lee Alfred Underwood ,on July 20, 1928. She was preceded in death by her foster parents, Frank and Beulah Wood. She was a member of NARFE, NALC and the Moore County Retired Nursing Association. Mrs. Klabbatz retired from the Pinehurst Medical Clinic. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harry L. Klabbatz of Aberdeen, her sons, Thomas W. Klabbatz (Brenda) of Houston, TX; Carl L. Klabbatz of Aberdeen, Mark S. Klabbatz of Myrtle Beach, SC; two grandchildren, Sarah Weaver (Travis) Rachel Boyer, five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, March 18, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Crumpler Funeral Home 40229 US 1 Hwy, Aberdeen. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Community Congregational Church 141 N. Bennett St. Southern Pines, with the Reverend Michael C. Dubbs officiating.
