Dateline: Raeford Mrs. Mary Kate Posey, 76, of Raeford died Wednesday, February 04, 2015 in FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Mrs. Posey was born August 28, 1938 in Hoke County to the late Authur Smith McInnis and Katie Bell Maxwell McInnis. Mrs. Posey is preceded in death by her husband Billy Gray Posey. Mrs. Posey is survived by two sons, Andy Posey and Mark Posey (Ashley), both of Raeford, 2 grandchildren Whitney Kerler (Bill) of Wilmington, Savannah Starling (Dustin) of Lumber Bridge, 3 great-grandchildren Katherine, Kennedy, and William Kerler, her sister Ann Zeigler of Raleigh, NC; and her beloved dog Rusty. A visitation will be held 10:00-11:00am Saturday February 7, 2015 at John C. Ropp Fellowship Hall. Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Raeford Presbyterian Church. Interment in Raeford Cemetery.
