Rodney Pap Jones

Mr. Rodney "Pap" Jones of 314 Spring Pine Lane, Shannon died on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the age of 71 Mr. Jones was born on January 15, 1945 in Robeson County, to the late Britton and Carrie Jones. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wilbert Jones. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father. Survivors are his wife, Dora Jones; three sons, Donovan Jones, Brandon Brooks and Paul Jones; one daughter, Tina Jones; six brothers, Britton, Walter, Wallie, Edward, Ronald and Russell; four sisters, Rose Marie, Tessie Lee, Mary and Myrtle; two best friends, cousin Leon Jones and best friend Douglas Locklear; and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Ave. Red Springs, NC 28377. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the New Jerusalem Holiness Church, 166 Wicker Road, Red Springs, with Reverend Ronald Locklear officiating, directed by Crumpler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
