Ruth Magalene Lytle Phillips

Mrs. Ruth Magalene Lytle Phillips of 302 West 3rd Avenue, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Manor Care Nursing Home at the age of 90. Mrs. Phillips was born in Marlboro County, SC on November 26, 1920 to the late Grover Cleveland and Mattie Currie Lytle. Her husband, Charles Warren Phillips preceded her in death. She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church. Survivors are a daughter, Ruth Anne Warren of Raeford; a son, Charles W. Phillips, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Raeford; a brother, Jerry Lytle of Raeford; three sisters, Margaret Davis of Raeford, Donnie McMillan and her husband David of Fayetteville, and Mary Smith of Aberdeen; four grandchildren, Matthew P. Warren and his wife Lori; Meredith W. Drescher and her husband Chris, Michael D. Warren and his wife Kinsley, and Shannon P. Sherman and her husband Billy; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00pm Tuesday, February 9, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford, 131 Harris Avenue and at other times at the home of Ruth Anne Warren, 314 Old Farm Road, Raeford, NC Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Shiloh Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. Steve Hannah Burial will be in the Shiloh Presbyterian Church Cemetery Memorials may be made to Shiloh Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, 127 Ruth Street, Aberdeen, NC or to Hospice Foundation of Hoke County, P.O.
