Anthony Joseph Salvaggio, 51, died on June 3, 2014. Anthony was a loving brother and a loving father to his daughter Caroline, who was the most important person in his life. He graduated from Brother Martin High School in 1980 he went on to graduate from Loyola University with a degree in History. He enjoyed cars, and the hobby of racing.
Anthony is survived by his daughter, Caroline Ann Salvaggio, and her mother, Karen Townsend Hagens; his brother, Dr. John A. Salvaggio and his wife, Martha Ortega Salvaggio; his sister, Lisa Salvaggio Polizzi and her husband, Vincent R Polizzi II; his nieces Sophia and Salma Salvaggio , nephews Ethan and Braden Polizzi and a large extended family of cousins, aunts and uncles in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marian Joseph Salvaggio and John A Salvaggio Sr.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00pm on Saturday, June 7 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in St. Mary of the Angels Chapel, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh, NC. A funeral mass will begin at 1:00pm in the chapel.
