She was preceded in death by her brothers Roy Ira O’Daniel, Dolvin Edward O’Daniel, her sisters Rosalie O. Harrison, Elnor O. Mangum and May O. Jordan.
She is survived by her son Van Lancaster of New York, NY and several nephews and nieces.
She retired after 48 years of service from The North Carolina Community College System, State Office. Her kind and gentle spirit touched those who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday June 22, 2014 in the Wynne Center of Brown Wynne Funeral Home 300 St. Mary’s St. Raleigh
