Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, Brad grew up alongside his beloved sister and devoted his life to creating lasting memories with his loving family.
Brad was a faithful provider and a man of God, deeply proud of his children and the life he built with his wife. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time surrounded by the beauty of nature. Family was always the center of his world, and he worked tirelessly to ensure his wife and children lived their best lives. One of his greatest joys was giving his wife the opportunity to stay home and teach their youngest daughter.
Brad cherished his relationship with all of his daughters and made every effort to remain close and supportive as they grew. This past May, he had the blessing of witnessing his oldest daughter marry, a moment that filled him with immeasurable pride.
Brad will be remembered for his unwavering love, his generosity of spirit, and his steadfast devotion to faith and family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him most.
He is survived by his wife, Sonya Coley; his daughters, Jayden, Georgia, and Kimberly; his parents, Gary and Harriett; and his sister, Jennifer.
To know Brad was a true joy—there was never a dull moment in his presence. He was the light in everyone’s eyes and never met a stranger.
The family would like to thank all who have shared memories, love, and support, and invites loved ones to join them for a memorial service in the coming weeks.
