Carol Anderson Cole, 87, of Raleigh, NC died peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 4, 1928 in Chicago, IL, daughter of Esther and Elvin Anderson.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Diana Cowgell and her husband, John of Raleigh, NC, Julie Knoll and her husband, Roger of Cary, NC; sons, Buell Cole and his wife, Victoria of Chicago, IL, Richard Cole and his wife, Phyllis of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Ransom of Springfield, OR. Carol is predeceased by siblings, Elvin Anderson, Jr., Dale Anderson and Patricia Chester. She is survived by a large and loving family all of who represented a tremendous source of joy and fulfillment throughout her long life.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27612. Burial will follow in Raleigh Memorial Park.
