Chandler Ryan Crabtree

Ryan passed away at home in Raleigh, NC on April 17, 2023. He was born in Greenwood, SC and moved with his family to Raleigh in 1988 and attended Broughton High School. After graduating from Broughton, he attended Appalachian State University and graduated with degrees in Chemistry and Biology. This led to a successful career in sales because he knew his product and had a wonderful engaging personality.

Ryan was the son of Rozann Williamson Crabtree and the late Orville Rich Crabtree, brother, Rich Crabtree and sister-in-law, Sheila of Daniel Island, SC. and brother, Reagan Crabtree and sister-in-law, Traci of Raleigh, NC. Ryan especially loved being a devoted uncle to Kate, Aidan, Arrington and Fenton Crabtree. There was also a special bond with his cousin, Gregory Rhame of Columbia, SC. They were always partners in crime as youngsters.

Ryan was a loving follower of Christ and attended Holy Trinity Anglican Church as did his mother, Reagan, Traci, Arrington and Fenton.

He always lit up a room with his personality and concern for others. Those of us left behind will be looking up for a little of that bright light as we lovingly remember our Ryan. You will be missed!

A memorial service for Ryan will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 100 E. Peace St., Raleigh, NC 27604.
