Mrs. Mosley was born on March 28, 1932, to the late Helene Sidor and Felix Hewelt in Berlin, Germany. She was educated in the Berlin public schools. Following school, she was employed for several years as a bookkeeper in various industries. Her primary role was as a homemaker, raising three boys.
Mrs. Mosley is survived by her three sons, Steven M. Mosley, and his wife, Beverly, of Abbeville, SC; Stanley K. Mosley, and his wife, Nancy, of Cary, NC; Christopher S. Mosley, and his wife, Donna, of Holly Springs, NC; and grandchildren, Patrick, Blake, and Katie.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 10:00 am in Raleigh Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Craig Gaither. A reception will follow immediately following the service at Mitchell Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis TN or Shriners Hospitals for Children, Tampa FL.
The Mosley family is under the care of Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park.
