Dear Collen,
I am very sad to hear about Jack. He was a fine friend and a fraternity member of mine at Westminster. He was a kind man and I liked him a lot.

Colleen, my deepest and most heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your beloved Jack. My sister called last night to tell me of his obit; I was truly taken aback. What a great guy, that Jack! Always with a smile and a kind word. He will be truly missed; I so enjoyed the times I saw at the PR playing pool with Don. My thought and prayers are with your family and you. All my love.

We were so surprised and deeply saddened to hear of Jack's passing. We saw the newspaper late Sunday night and certainly would have attended the funeral had we known earlier. Jack was a gentle and kind spirit and a truly good person, of which there are too few in the world today. We are deeply saddened that he was taken too early. May God bless and Jack with eternal peace and love. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Godspeed Jack. You touched our lives and we will never forget you.

To quote Seondhand Lions; Jack Coleman “REALLY LIVED” - with a charitable spirit and a lot of spunk. With this headstrong determination, Jack threw himself into everything - including rugby... What style...

We will always remember your generosity and comradery as Rugby brother. I will however never forget your bravery on the field that cold night in Inverness Scotland when you threw your body into the Highlanders and cemented the Viper's undefeated international tour of Scotland. We will miss you Jack.

So long Jack. Throughout the years and all the permutations of life I always knew when I came through Raleigh that when I found you I could find out what was happening with people and events of interest. Thank you for that and all the "rides home" you provided for my wayward kin. See you soon "In the sweet by and by". BATT
