James served his country in the US Army. He later graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Master's Degree in English and was an avid Tar Heel fan. James was a professor at St. Augustine College. He was a very giving, selfless person and was loved by all who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered by brother, Tom Justice, sister, Sandra Waldrop and her husband John and nephew, Steve Justice and his wife Sommer and their children Autumn and Hannah Justice.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 -2:00 pm, with the funeral service at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 16th at the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh NC. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Raleigh Memorial Park.
