She will always be in the prayers for She was always the sweetest person in so many times!!!! She will always be in my heart forever.

I met Julia at a North Carolina writers conference many years ago, and we immediately recognized each other as kindred spirits. She made me laugh, and she made me feel funnier than I was. I think that was one of Julia's gifts: she believed in the goodness in people. She wanted to lead us all down a better road. Even after I moved to Minnesota, we continued to laugh together and chat and grow.

I will miss you, dear Julia, and wish your spirit is at peace and still laughing.

Being a classmate of Julie from Pickett Elementary School to Lexington Senior High School, Julie was admired and well liked.  Being a backdoor neighbor of Julie residing on Woodcrest Drive, good times were had playing together all those younger years.  To  Julie's family and her two older sisters,  I offer my my sincere sympathy.  Jerry Smith

So sorry to learn of Julie’s passing. We were born the same week at Lexington Memorial Hospital. Our mothers visited with one another during that time. We attended school together. Julie usually sat behind me in home room,  as we were seated in alphabetical order. We also went to First United Methodist Church and participated in Sunday School, MYF and MYF church camp in the Summertime. Sending prayers of comfort, strength and love to her husband and family.
