Justin is remembered as being loving, humble, hard-working, kind, and deeply loyal. Justin’s hilarious sense of humor was always followed by a hardy laugh and a smile just as bright as the sun. Justin’s undeniable faith rested in Jesus Christ alone. He loved and delighted in his wife Aly, and their four young children, Spencer James, Zeke, Nancy, and Jacob. Justin was a man known for his compassion, servant-hearted humility, and faithfulness. His passing has been a shattering reality for his family, his church family, and all who knew him.
Justin had a true servant’s heart, quick to drop whatever he was doing and fill needs that he saw rather than needing them to be asked for. He never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back if needed. From working in the church, to tirelessly serving his family and the people around him, to sharing the message of Jesus with the unnoticed: the homeless, the waiter. Just as Jesus did. Justin’s greatest love and passion in life was Jesus Christ. The legacy of his story and heart live on through all who knew him, and his family in Christ hold onto the hope and future joy of seeing him again one day.
In addition to his wife and children, Justin is survived by his parents, Teresa and Terry Farnsworth, and siblings Felicia Farnsworth, Joshua Farnsworth, Tiffany “Farnsworth” Grigg, and Travis Farnsworth, who miss him terribly. He is also survived by his Sister-in-Law, Christie Greenia, and Brother’s-in-Law, James, Bradley, and Drew Greenia, and finally his Father-in-Law, James Greenia, with whom he shared a special bond. Justin has sixteen nieces, nephews, and one great nephew. Justin’s short 37 years on God’s great Earth, was full of love, laughter, family, and friends. He is greatly missed.
The greatest honor of knowing Justin was to be shown the love of God as he served others, and those who had the pleasure of knowing him seek comfort in knowing that the Lord his God loves and rejoices over Justin and his surviving family, quieting them with his love, holding both in His capable hands.
Zephaniah 3:17, “The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”
Riches I heed not, nor vain, empty praise
Thou mine inheritance, now and always
Thou and thou only first in my heart
High King of heaven, my treasure thou art.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Providence Baptist Church, at 4:00 pm.
