Lenny Gordon, 64, of Raleigh died peacefully Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Rex Hospital. Lenny was born on June 30, 1948 in Southampton, NY. He lived in Raleigh for more than 20 years, and for the last 10 years, Lenny has resided at RHA Health Service. The family would like to thank the staff at RHA for the loving care they gave to Lenny.
He is survived by his mother Eleanor Raso Gordon of Raleigh; sister, Christine Bermel of Raleigh; nephew, Dr. Peter Bermel and wife, Dr. Luanne Bermel of West Lafayette, IN; two nieces, Laura Yurco and husband, Jason of Cary, and Chelsea Bermel of Raleigh; and an aunt, Jean Bohenkamp of Georgetown, TX.
He is preceded in death by an aunt, Grace Marie Joye.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 7th at 2pm at Raleigh Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Paul’s Christian Church, 3331 Blue Ridge Rd. Raleigh, NC 27612.
