Nazelle Jeanette Carter

Nazelle was a daughter of George and Delta Carter, and lived in Raleigh for most of her life. She served her Lord in various ways, first of all by ministering to orphaned boys and girls at the Pittsboro Children's home, which later became Pittsboro Christian Village. For many years she was faithful in attendance at North Raleigh Chapel, which was near her home at Capital Towers prior to taking up residence in Pittsboro in 2008. She regularly carried Sunday school materials and gospel tracts to share with her fellow residents at Capital Towers.

Nazelle completed two years of business school, which led to her employment with the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles, retiring November 1, 1990.

Nazelle will be missed by her extended family of friends at Capital Towers, Pittsboro Christian Village, and North Raleigh Chapel.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary's Street, Raleigh, NC 27605. Burial will follow the service at Murray Cemetery in Zebulon.
