A proud graduate of Penn State University, Tom carried his Nittany Lion spirit with him throughout his life. His passion for Penn State football was more than just fandom; it was a lifelong bond to his alma mater and a source of countless cherished memories shared with family and friends.
Tom dedicated the majority of his professional career to Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he earned widespread respect for his integrity, vision, and commitment to excellence. Over the years, he was the recipient of numerous leadership, growth, and sales awards, reflecting not only his professional accomplishments but also his ability to inspire and uplift those around him. He believed deeply in teamwork, mentorship, and celebrating the success of others.
Outside of work, Tom found his greatest joy in his family. One of his proudest roles was coaching his sons’ soccer teams, where he combined his competitive spirit with patience, encouragement, and genuine care for every child on the field. For Tom, coaching was never just about the game, it was about building confidence, character, and community.
He will be remembered most for his infectious sense of humor, kind heart, and good nature. Tom’s witty sarcasm could lighten everyone’s moods.
Tom is survived by his loving family and many dear friends who will continue to honor his memory by finding humor in all situations, listening to great music, and cheering on their favorite sports teams with enthusiasm.
The family is planning a private celebration of life at a later date.
