Vivian “Peggy” Elizabeth Morgan Gregory, 86, devoted wife of 61 years to the late Graham W. “Greg” Gregory and beloved mother of Raymond L. Gregory of Raleigh, Donna M. Gregory Hildreth (husband, J.R.) of Granite Falls, NC and Elizabeth “Libby” Gregory Luther (husband, Jim) of Raleigh, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015.
A native of Raleigh, Vivian was born on August 27, 1928 to Edward Poe Morgan and Vivian Elizabeth Morgan, nee Mitchell.
Vivian delighted in her husband, family and her grandchildren- Lauren Elizabeth Gregory-Baker (husband, Scott), Erin Elizabeth Hildreth Thorum (husband, Rob), Matthew Iverson Gregory, Ian Gregory Luther, Diana Elizabeth Luther and great-granddaughter Isabelle Elizabeth Gregory-Baker. Vivian is also survived by her brothers, Edward, Jim Lee (wife, Kaye), Randy “T.K.” Morgan and a sister, Patricia Ann Morgan Butts.
The family will receive family members and friends on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:00 in the Church Parlor at The Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh followed by a Service at 11:00 and a reception in the Church Founders Room. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital in memory of Vivian.
