

She was born September 24, 1931, in Alexander, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Hartzel and Phyllis (Grow) Pringle. Having lived in the Mantua area for 32 years, she moved to Summerfield, Florida with her husband where they resided for the past 15 years.
Betty graduated from Edinburg High School Class of 1949. She was a varsity cheerleader during all four years of high school. Betty later graduated from Bohecker Business College of Ravenna and was employed as a stenographer/secretary at Colonial Rubber and the Ravenna Arsenal.
Her hobbies included bowling, dancing, and reading western novels. Betty enjoyed her work as a dancing instructor at Karen’s Dance Academy in Ravenna. She loved cooking for family and friends on all holidays, and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Lawrence “Larry” Mike, daughters: Connie (John) Sisco of Edinburg Twp., Ohio, Marilyn Mike of Mentor on the Lake, Ohio, and Linda Mike of Chandler, Arizona, as well as her four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her half-brother Ronald Pringle of Edinburg Twp.
Friends will be received Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, with Pastor Tina Green officiating the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Edinburg Cemetery in Edinburg Township.
