Bonnie A. Wise

Born September 6, 1940, in Youngstown, Ohio, daughter of the late Edward J. Conroy and Virginia L. (Ramm) Conroy. Bonnie graduated from Villa Maria High School, Villa Maria, Pennsylvania in 1958, and studied art at Kent State University for 2 years. Bonnie met the love of her life and married Raymond Lynn Wise October 15, 1960. Bonnie totally devoted herself to her family’s school, sports, band, and scouting activities, as well as enjoying gardening, interior decorating and boating. Together Bonnie and Lynn were members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, hosting and teaching boating skills to others. Bonnie later studied business at Bohecker’s Business College, and was employed in various positions at Ravenna Oil Company, as well as serving as its personnel manager and corporate secretary.

Surviving Bonnie are children, Kelly A. (Robert) Fial of Sandusky, Ohio, Raymond Jed (Donna) Wise of Ravenna, Ohio, Timothy M. (April) Wise of Lake Milton, Ohio, and Mary Keelynn Wise of Norwalk, Ohio. Also surviving are Bonnie’s brothers William (Marjorie) Conroy of Brimfield, and Timothy (Jan) Conroy of Ravenna. Her memory will also be cherished by her 9 grandchildren and 8 nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Rev. William Kraynak, will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, November 14th at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
