Carolyn Hawkinberry

She was born November 23, 1937, Ravenna, Ohio, to parents William and Flora (Utley) Willyard. Carolyn later moved to Farmington, West Virginia in 1975.

Carolyn was dedicated sister, mother, grandmother, and is loved greatly and will be terribly missed by her friends and family, including: her daughter Sandra Toothman, her grandchildren Michael and Jason Toothman, Samantha Butts, Becky, Joseph, and Brandon Garrett, Ronald and Roger Jones, and many great-grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings Bonnie English, Loretta Dolin, Cheryl Sands, Joyce and Sandra Lovejoy, and Robert “Bob” Willyard; as well as generations nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband William Richard Hawkinberry Sr., her daughters April Garrett, Lori Jones and Kimberly Hawkinberry, her son William Richard Hawkinberry Jr., granddaughter Danielle Jones, brothers Richard “Dick”, Larry “Butch”, William “Bill”, James “Jim” Willyard and her sister Ruth Hawkinberry.

Carolyn was a very kind hearted person and never had anything bad to say about anyone. She loved visiting with her siblings and playing poker with them, she also loved camping and playing Bingo. Carolyn sold Avon for several years and worked for Mannington Main Street in West Virginia.

Her wishes for cremation are being honored. Friends and family will be received Monday, September 12, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
