Christopher Scott Kohl

Christopher "Scott" Kohl, 50, of Kent, formally of Cambridge, Ohio; passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital after battling lung cancer. He was born August 16, 1961 to Ernest Calvin and Patricia Ann (Carter) Kohl. He graduated from Cambridge High School in 1979 and received his Bachelors in Business Administration from Kent State University in 1984. In 2001, he became co-owner of Astra Products in Ravenna, Ohio.

He greatly enjoyed being a dad, going to work, the outdoors, working with his hands and especially golfing with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Moore) Kohl, whom he married on October 24, 1981; sons, Steven and Michael Kohl of the home; mother Patricia Kohl of Peoria, Arizona; brother Jerry (Ruth) Kohl of Andover; sister Diane (Dave) Snode of Cambridge. He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Calvin Kohl.
