Doris Ann Kinsey

She was born March 23, 1941, to parents Clem and Mildred (Kissel) Engelhart, and was a lifelong resident of Randolph. Doris had a strong faith and was a member of St. Joseph Parish.

She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and birdwatching. Doris was also an excellent cook. She retired from the foodservice department at Robinson Memorial Hospital.

Doris is survived by her children: John (Ann) Kinsey, Darlene (Gene) Steiner, and Brenda Kinsey, and her sister Kathy (Randy) Weckbacher. She was affectionately known as Grandma Tootie to her grandchildren: Kim (Sarah) Kinsey, Brad (Sam) Steiner, Nick (Angie) Steiner, Amanda (Chris) Carpenter, Bryan (Krystal) Kinsey, and Harlan Kinsey, as well as her 10 great-grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ralph Kinsey.

Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring and remembering Doris on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Reverend Kevin Bertleff at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
