Dorothy F Tortorella

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mario, of 46 years, son John (2020), and her eleven (11) brothers and sisters.

Dorothy was a life-long resident of Ravenna until her move to The Village of St. Edwards in Green, Ohio in 2021. She loved to cook her Slovak recipes and Mario’s Italian delights. She enjoyed her Ravenna friends and many years as a charter member of Delta Sorosis club. Later in life, she and Mario enjoyed bus trips to different destinations and trips to Canada for visits with her daughter, Ann and her family. Dorothy was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church where she worked as the Office Manager for over 40 years.

She is survived by her children Ann (Paul), David (Melissa), and her daughter-in-law Michelle, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy’s family and faith were the most important part of her life. She was always so proud of her children and the glories in having grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Rev. John Michael Lavelle, will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
