Elaine was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to parents Charles and Margaret (Schaefer) Kline on September 22, 1964. Elaine graduated from Rootstown High School with the class of 1982 then went on to enjoy a long career with Kaiser Permanente in the IT department, retiring after 26 years of service.
Elaine was a member of the First Christian Church in Ravenna and enjoyed her involvement with the Boy Scouts of America- 16 years as a Cub Scout Leader (Pack 3551) and Boy Scout Leader (Troop 553). In her spare time, she enjoyed flower gardening, plants and loved shopping, especially at nurseries. Elaine loved ice cream, watching the Hallmark Channel, camping with her family and all of her dogs she had loved over the years. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who cherished her family the most.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 26 years, James Mikesina and her children: Alex (Natalie) Drabczyk, Jacob (Alexis Figuero) Mikesina, Michael (Haylee) Mikesina, step-daughter Lianna Dauberman and her grandchildren Shepherd Mikesina and Payton Dauberman. She also leaves her mother Margaret Herron, step-father Vern Herron, father Charles Kline and her sister Brenda Fohner.
Elaine was preceded in death by her son-in-law Adam Dauberman.
Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St, Ravenna, on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 4pm until the 6pm memorial service officiated by Pastor Bob Burgess.
Elaine’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and aids of Crossroads Hospice for their special care given to Elaine and ourselves during this difficult time.
