Frank taught me so much about fly fishing, cane rods and being a real gentleman.  I miss him and the many fine people I met at his shops.


From 05 till the shop closed I used to enjoy stopping after work and drinking coffee and talking with Frank. I still miss it. What a great guy he was.

Frank helped me train a bird dog that I thought was a lost cause. Through his patience and guidance that dog became a great hunter and companion. I will miss you both. Thanks for the memories.

Sorry you are gone my friend. I enjoyed you, your jokes and donuts when you would stop in. You were a special man.

Remember many lunches talking fishing and dogs. Fond memories of catching bass in the lake out of his canoe. 
He came out to fish with us in Colorado. 


We just met Frank last summer.  He came by on his golf cart.  During that one conversation, we found we shared a love of dogs (including raising and training bird dogs).  He visited with our dogs and told us about his Brittany Spaniels.  He told us about his career as a textbook salesman and told us he would take his dog so he could  hunt after work (Dave also does this during pheasant season).

We were  looking forward to many more stories about his life experiences.  He seemed to have a lot of great stories.  Sadly, we won't have that opportunity.

Such wonderful memories of you stopping at the cottage, with your dogs, to talk and tell us a story or a joke.  Our mutual love for little red sports cars was always fun to share!  Thank you for sharing your love of Muzzy Lake with all of us....

Pleasant memories---from the time we purchased the cottage and you gave our kids the antique school desk, through the times that you and Tad worked the farm on Herriff Road.  Rest in Peace, Frank.

Always a blessing you were Frank, from a little boy coming to your store in town to get some flies; never leaving without more goods than i had change for, to moving to Maggie's and your slice of paradise here at Muzzy to watching you make Nathan wings and sharing your incredible life stories with him.
