Helen Ann (Rudd) Baxter, age 84 of Ravenna, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018. She was born October 12, 1933, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Gerald and Nina (Watson) Rudd.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish. Helen graduated from Ravenna High School in 1951. She worked at Evenflo and Wood Funeral Home in Ravenna before moving to Miami, Florida. She moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1982 and worked at Barnet Bank, until returning to Ravenna in late 2004.

On November 6, 1954, she married Clarence “Chub” Baxter Jr. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2004. She was also preceded by her parents, and her brothers Jack and Dick Rudd.

Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend William Kraynak at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna, with a time of fellowship to follow at Tobin Hall. Final resting place will be St. Mary Cemetery in Ravenna.
