John Dillon Brusie, Wanderer, free spirited, and unconventional are why we all loved J.D. Brusie. He was a big guy with a big heart and a big laugh. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
John Dillon Brusie (J.D.), age 49, of Las Vegas Nevada died Thursday April 29, 2010 at home with his dog Jake at his side. Born March 20, 1961, the son of John Brusie and JoAnn Ensinger Brusie. J.D. grew up in Ravenna, attending Ravenna High School. Las Vegas was J.D.s home for more than 10 years where he was a dealer at the Excalibur Casino.
J.D. is survived by his sister, Laurie Conroy, Brother-in- Law Bill Conroy and his nieces; Jenny, Molly, Erin, and Brenna Conroy of Hinsdale, Illinois. He is also survived by his faithful companion Jake and a great group of friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna. Immediately after the ceremony there will be a gathering of friends and family at the English Pub on Main Street in Ravenna.
