

John was born in Ravenna, Ohio on July 29, 1931 to parents Peter and Helen (Libertine) Trivelli. John served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War conflict. After returning home he went on to work at Royal Crown Bottling Company where he was plant manager. He subsequently worked for a time at Container Corporation and retired from there. One of the many achievements John attained was working 46 years and never missing one day of work. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. John liked gardening, classical music and loved to cook. He was a true fan of the Cleveland Indians through thick and thin, many times letting the television know how he felt.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Rosemary. Surviving also are his children: Linda (David) Doak and Barbara (Joseph) Villers. John also leaves his grandchildren: Amanda (Scott) Casto, Christopher Villers, Courtney Villers and great-grandchildren: Elise & Jack Casto and Brady Villers. Many loving nieces and nephews will also cherish their memories of John.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Clara Trivelli and his brother Henry Trivelli.

Family and friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 17, at 1:00pm with Reverend Michael Doak officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
