

Judy was born on June 24, 1945 in Adrian, West Virginia to parents Jennings Lee and Estie (nee Thompson) Dean. She attended Immaculate Conception Church where she also was involved with the Dust Busters. Judy loved playing cards, especially Euchre and enjoyed gardening and canning. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan since 1985 and was a talented, self-taught artist who enjoyed painting and creating crafts.
Judy, also known as “Grandma Jude” (GJ), thoroughly enjoyed her family and leaves behind her husband, Walter Knapp, whom she married October 5, 1979, daughter Donna (Mark) Weaver, and sons: Neal (Kim) Marsh and John (Amber) Knapp. Also surviving are grandchildren: Brandee (Steven) Glenn, Clint (Megan) Marsh, Kirk (Lindsey) Marsh, Anthony Frascella, Katie Weaver, Faith Weaver, Grace Weaver and great-grandchildren: Christopher Glenn, Bryan Glenn, Emma Marsh, Anthony Frascella Jr., Ava Marsh, Colton Frascella and Everett Marsh. Her brothers: Charles, Jerry and Jimmy also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Vera, Kitty, Gilda, Robert and her granddaughter Audrey Ann Marsh.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, from 6:00pm until 8:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Rev. William Kraynak, will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, August 4, at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
