Kelly was born in Joplin, Missouri on May 22, 1959 to parents Bill and Shirley (Cruse) Crutchfield. Kelly was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Korea. He was a very funny, loving and kind man. Kelly loved music and self-taught himself to play the guitar. He was very athletic and enjoyed sports. Kelly loved all his “girls” in his life and was a supportive and loving husband, dad, and papa to them.
Kelly is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Pam J. Crutchfield, his daughter Karla (Jason) Dillon and his granddaughters: Kelsey and Kristen Dillon. He also leaves his parents, his brother Terry (Sharon) Crutchfield, mother-in-law Doris Shanholtzer, brother-in-law Phillip (Nancy) Shanholtzer, sister-in-law Sharon (Mickey) Shanholtzer and his loving niece and nephews.
Kelly was preceded in death by his grandson Justin Dillon, his brother-in-law Michael Shanholtzer and his father-in-law Eugene Shanholtzer.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, December 7, 2018 in the Chapel at Edinburg Cemetery with Pastor David Ballert officiating. Inurnment will follow. Friends and family are invited to the Edinburg United Church, 4081 Rockspring Rd., Edinburg, from 4:00-7:00 pm for a celebration of Kelly’s life.
