

He was born January 1, 1926, in Diamond, Ohio, son of the late Kenneth Lee and Elizabeth (Davis) Campbell. Kenny was a self-employed carpenter with K.R. Campbell Construction and a member of the First Christian Church of Ravenna. Mr. Campbell was a WWII veteran, serving in the US Army. He later became a lifetime member of Ravenna VFW Post 1055 and was a charter member of Deerfield American Legion Post 713. Kenneth was also active in the Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star. He enjoyed the time he spent outdoors, whether it was going to turkey shoots or fishing on the river in Canada.
Survivors include his children: Karen (Larry) Frankland, Bruce (Erda) Campbell, and Linda Camp all of Ravenna; grandchildren: Heather (Ben) Kelly, Gretchen Ginn, Brian Camp, Kyle Camp, Kelsey Campbell, and Reese Campbell; great-grandson: Ryan Kelly; also survived by his faithful three-legged companion Scrappy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Beverly (Cope) Campbell on December 16, 2002, and also by his sister Marie Miller.
Cremation has taken place and friends will be received Saturday, July 10, 2010, from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM memorial service at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Final resting place will be Maple Grove Cemetery.
