

Born July 28,1945 in Ravenna, Ohio to Chris H. Scheiben and Dorothy Mae (Morrison).
He is survived by his daughters Michelle (Dave) Savage of Jefferson and Stephanie (Brian) Savage of Edinburg. His four grandchildren Brian, Brenden, Kelley, and David as well as three great grandchildren Olivia, Wyatt and Jackson. Sisters Patricia, Janet and Christine as well as a brother (Robert) who preceded him in death. As well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ken retired from the GM Lordstown Fabricating plant after 38 years of service. He served in the United States Navy and Reserves where he served aboard the aircraft carrier USS America stationed in Norfolk, Virginia.
Ken loved NASCAR and a big fan of Dale Earnhardt and Tony Stewart. He enjoyed racing his cars at Quaker City Dragway and Meander Raceway. Ken spent is summers on Berlin Lake, cruising around on his jet boat. Ken was also a great water skier, even after losing his leg in a motorcycle accident in 1974, continuing to water ski including skiing barefoot. He also enjoyed traveling around for years attending power boat races. Ken was also a big Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He had the whole nursing staff in his hospital room watching the Buckeyes capture the National Championship!
Ken will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.
