She was born May 11, 1955, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Roy S. and Julia “Judy” (Gajdos) Jones. Marcia worked for Podnar Plastics in Kent until her retirement in 2007. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Marcia enjoyed attending her grandkid’s sporting events and fishing.
She is survived by her husband Jerome Perry, and children: Craig (Jen) Perry, Tara Perry, and Jerome S. (Angela) Perry. Marcia’s memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: Maya, Dajah, Mariah, Marquet Jr., and Parker; as well as her sisters: Nancy (Martin) Toth, Janet (Mike) Nobel, Julie VanHorn, and Rosemary Jones, along with many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Judy Jones.
Friends and family will be received Sunday, November 10, 2013, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
