

Mike was born on December 22, 1945 in East Rainelle, West Virginia. He was a veteran serving in the Navy from 1964 to 1965. Mike retired in 2005 from the Hoover Company after 27 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Moxley and Ann (Burns) Lanham Sr., his brother, Moxley Lanham Jr., father-in-law Ralph Full, and nephew Daniel Close. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Robin of Atwater; his sons, Scott (Alleen) Lanham of Wilmington, North Carolina; David King of Florida; his daughters, Brenda (Matthew) Knepp of Alliance; Melinda (Chuck) Gattuso of Canton; Mother-in-law, Corrine Full of Atwater; his brother Lee (Carole) Lanham of Texas; his sisters, Liz (Larry) Perry of Geneva, Carol (Bob) Colgrove of Mentor, and Debbie (Jeff) Yankie of Tennessee; and three beautiful grandchildren Micheal Anne Swain-Knepp, Isabelle Knepp and Enola King.
His influence and love will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, all of whom honored and cherished him greatly. Mike’s legacy lives on with his Gift of Life so generously given through organ and tissue donation.
Mike loved living in the country, soaking up the sun while working in the yard and garden. Mike had a unique gentle spirit about him and was always unselfish and giving to others around him. He relished watching and cheering for the Cavaliers and Browns. Mike loved his dog and his family so much. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his friends, family and man's best friend Coco. We love you Mike! Hug the ones you love and tell them you love them as much as possible, for we are only promised today and we never know what tomorrow will bring.
