He was born October 29, 1960, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents French Charles and Clara Irene (Westfall) Carpenter. Paul enjoyed restoring and working on old cars, as well as going fishing. He worked for Acme Grocery Store, Goodwill, and at a recycling facility in Akron.
Paul is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Mary and Ken Thompson, along with several nieces and nephews, as well as his special friend Laural. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ruth Taylor, and his brothers Charles and James Carpenter.
His wishes for cremation are being honored. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Grandview Memorial Park. A luncheon and celebration of life will be held for family and friends at the Bailey Road Christian Church, 3200 W, Bailey Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 on Saturday, June 28, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM.
