Rosemary Szabaga Ferrell

She was born August 12, 1916, in Lakewood, Ohio, to parents John and Eva (Maslo) Szabaga. Rosemary was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Parish. She was a member of Young at Heart, the Infant of Prague, and the Catholic Daughters of America.

She is survived by her son Larry “Butch” Ferrell, her daughter Linda Summers, and her daughter-in-law Debbie Ferrell. Her memory will also be cherished by her loving grandchildren: Danielle Summers of London, Ohio, Shawn Summers of Grove City, Ohio, Christopher Ferrell of Streetsboro, Matthew (Carly) Ferrell of Ravenna, Joseph (Lisa) Ferrell of Ravenna, Carolyn (John) Wetshtein; great-grandchildren: Christian McDermott, Dylan McDermott, Solomon Ferrell, Rubee Ferrell, Joey Ferrell, Jacob Ferrell, Olivia Ferrell, Kaitlyn Wetshtein, and several generations of nieces and nephews.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Ferrell, her son Mike Ferrell, her daughter-in-law Nancy Ferrell, her granddaughter Lisa Ferrell, her brother Stanley Szabaga, and her sisters Genevieve Szabaga and Anna Dombroski.

Friends will be received Friday, June 17, 2016, from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna. Reverend William Kraynak will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:00 AM. Entombment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery.
